| Art Appreciation | ||

| Description: | Volunteers present an art appreciation program featuring an American Artist. All the materials are pre-prepared for you in a step-by-step fashion which makes sharing them with students really simple and fun. Also, classes are scheduled in advance which is convenient for parents with limited time during the day. |

| Bagel Lunch | ||

| Description: | Help serve bagels on Tuesdays. |

| Bicycle Safety | ||

| Description: | Schedule bike safety testing for Grades 3 and 4 in conjunction with the Police Department. |

| Description: | As Liasion to the Board of Education, the BOE representative attends monthly BOE Meetings and reports information at the monthly PTO meetings. |

| Bookfair | ||

| Description: | Volunteers help set-up a bookstore for two days in October. Help is also needed during the day to help children shop and purchase books. |

| Box Tops | ||

| Description: | Families cut Box Tops from General Mills products. At your convenience drop them off in the Main Office in an envelope marked "Box Tops". |

| Budget Awareness Committee | ||

| Description: | Attend select BOE meetings and help create and disseminate information about the annual School Budget Election. |

| Class Parents Coordinator | ||

| Description: | Assign class parents and plan end-of-the-year pizza parties. |

| Community Outreach | ||

| Description: | Help plan an activity for students during school Valentine's Day party that will support/help a non-profit organization. |

| Description: | Attend quarterly meetings and help run Family Card Night in early spring. |

| Costume and Make-Up | ||

| Description: | Volunteers work with music teacher to provide costumes and make-up for the Holiday Show (Grades 2 and 3) and the 5th Grade Musical (Grades 4 and 5). |

| Cultural Programs | ||

| Description: | Review and schedule select presentations for assemblies during the school year. |

| Economy Shop | ||

| Description: | The Economy Shop is run and operated by all Wyckoff Schools PTO. The shop offers gently used items for sale. All profits from the Economy Shop are distributed between each Wyckoff Schools. Volunteers are needed to work a scheduled shift the shop. It's a nice and simple way to support our school. |

| Description: | Volunteers help to create environmentally friendly ideas and practices.Year round gardening volunteers needed to maintain Outdoor Classroom. |

| Family Picnic | ||

| Description: | A fun outdoor event to wrap up the school year. Volunteers are needed to coordinate games, food and check-in. |

| Fifth Grade Representative | ||

| Description: | Help the 5th grade class with outgoing activities, events and the memory book. |
|
| Friendship Basket | ||

| Description: | Parents volunteers prepare meals during certain circumstances for other Sicomac families. |
|
| Grocery Gift Cards | ||
| Chair: | Janeen Ameres | |
| Description: | Grocery Card order forms out sent home monthly. Each grocery store gives back a percentage of gift cards purchased through this program. |

| Hospitality | ||

| Description: | Provide baked goods/bagels/milk/OJ during the year for our PTO meetings. Two people per month are needed. |
|
| Kids Night | ||

| Description: | Each grade is invited to attend a Friday night in January for a fun-filled hour of relay races and games. Parent volunteers are needed to run relay games. This is a great event for Dad volunteers since it is always scheduled in the evening. |

| Media Center | ||

| Description: | Help in the Media Center during your child's class. Responsibilities include checking books in and out and shelving and sorting books. |

| Membership and Directory | ||

| Military Bridge | ||

| Description: | A fundraising event held in the Fall. Military Bridge is a fun and simple card game (unrelated to traditional bridge). A great night out for mom's and gift baskets are offered as raffles during the night. Volunteers are needed to bring food, set-up and clean up table and make or donate baskets. |

| Description: | Plan a night out at a local restaurant in the Fall. |

| Newcomer's | ||

| Description: | Assist incoming families and continue to welcome new families with PTO information during the year. An Ice Cream Social is held in September. |

| Photography | ||

| Description: | Volunteer to take pictures during our PTO events. | |
| Pizza Lunch | ||

| Description: | Help serve pizza on Thursdays throughout the year. Volunteers will rotate throughout the month depending on how many people sign up. |

| Pumpkin Sale | ||

| Description: | In the fall children have the opportunity to purchase pumpkins throughout the day in early October, to celebrate Halloween. Parent volunteers are needed to set-up pumpkins, help the younger children make selections and man the sales table. Volunteers can be scheduled in shifts or for the day. |

| Description: | An exciting day for students, who attend a variety of workshops centered on our year's theme. Theme Day is in early April. Volunteers are needed to find and coordinate relevant workshops, schedules and more. |
